#PMD MICRODERMABRASION REVIEW SKIN#The dead skin cells are instantly removed by the vacuum action of the device, which activates the innate skin healing mechanism that stimulates cell renewal and collagen production in the upper layers of the skin. #PMD MICRODERMABRASION REVIEW PROFESSIONAL#PMD Personal Microderm uses the same aluminium oxide crystals as found in professional machines, which make up a flat, coarse disc that has a deeply exfoliating effect on the skin. It combines the power of deep exfoliation with vacuum suction to leave the skin looking brighter, smoother and more rejuvenated than ever. The hand-held PMD Personal Microderm system delivers the same anti-ageing and skin purifying results as microdermabrasion treatments offered in medical spas and salons, but at a fraction of the price. The PMD is an ‘at home’ microdermabrasion treatment, or, to really break it down, an ultra gentle mini sander for your face. The Classic retails for £145, with a one off salon treatment costing around £60, you would be saving plenty of money over time. This is rather exciting, I’ve been sent a PMD – Personal Microderm Device, to review for the site. You can also pick it up via the Look Fantastic website. Has my review got you wanting your very own personal microderm? The PMD Microderm can be purchased directly on the PMD website, there are a few different versions to chose from, but for reference I have the Classic. However I will, of course, need to use it long term before I notice the main benefits of microdermabrasion. Overall, I have actually noticed a difference straight away from using the PMD Personal Microderm blue disc. Obviously my skin was a little more red this time around because I used a harsher disc, however my face felt/looked better than when I used the white disc. The second time I tried the device, I decided to go with the blue disc to see if this made more of a difference…and it really did! This might be a little gross, but I could actually see some of the dead skin that the Personal Microderm removed from my face. My skin was a little red when I finished using the microderm, but that is to be expected. To be honest, my skin looked pretty much the same after using, however, it did feel a lot smoother, and the tightness from washing my face had vanished. I found it extremely easy to use and it was a completely painless process. As a beginner, I opted for the white disc, I wanted to play it safe to make sure my skin did not react badly. Included with the device you will find 3 different coloured discs: white (for ultra sensitive skin/training), blue (for sensitive skin) and green (medium strength abrasion). It was a really helpful video so I picked it up right away. #PMD MICRODERMABRASION REVIEW HOW TO#Now for the part you have visited my blog to read…the review!īefore using for the first time, I checked out PMD’s YouTube training video on how to use the PMD Personal Microderm. You can see why I couldn’t wait to give this little machine a try, to see if it actually made any difference to my complexion. Microdermabrasion is said to improve the appearance of the following: Microdermabrasion is typically carried out in a clinic by a professional, however PMD have created a user friendly, microdermabrasion at home experience so you can cut out the middle man, but have the same results as visiting a salon. Removing this top layer is supposed to leave you with fresher, younger looking skin pretty much after the first procedure. Microdermabrasion is a procedure to help renew/improve the texture of the skin, by using an abrasive surface to remove the outer layer of skin (dead skin). To be honest, I wasn’t sure what Microdermabrasion was at first, or what its benefits were, so of course I have done a little research of my own. Anyway, enough of my rambling, lets get into the post. Life has become somewhat hectic for me, so things have gotten in the way, so it has taken me a while to get around to writing my review. I have had the device in my possession for quite some time now. PMD Beauty are a well known brand within the skincare industry, so when they reached out asking if I wanted to try out and review their Personal Microderm I was beyond thrilled.
